Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AM–10:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 941-8780. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, greatchinafood.com.

Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 399 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Take out General tos , gross. The chicken was hard and tasted left over for days. Won’t go again.

Super sad to find out they changed their dumplings. Been coming here for years because they are my fav and this was one of the only place that still did them (as in not gyoza/potstickers) The other food is still pretty good but there's an obvious decrease in quality with the food. Very sad day.

General Tso’s chicken was not hot at all, nor was it fresh. Very poor quality chicken, the sizes were about 5 inches long and appeared like chicken wings. Will not be coming back, food was terrible.

Usually really good food, however, I placed an order online delivery at 9pm. I called in at 10pm and they said it’s on the way. It is now 10:30 and the store is closed and I do not have my food

I wish I could give this zero stars… Let me begin by saying that the Chinese restaurant that I normally go to is closed on Mondays so I made a hasty decision because I was hungry after a long day to get my regular order of chicken chow mein fun and hot and sour soup from a different Chinese place. First of all when I walked into the place it smelled so badly of grease that while I waited for my order to be finished and paid for it. I came home smelling as if I was in their restaurant four hours. I started with the hot and sour soup and I could tell that it was premade and not homemade or original. It just had a sodium liquid taste to it. Then I moved onto the chicken chow mein, fun and right away. It tasted just like the grease smell that was billowing out of the restaurant. It taste like it was made in the same pan with the same grease as everything else in that restaurant. I was so hungry And since I spent my hard on money on it, I sucked it up and ate it and told myself it wasn’t that bad… I was about a third into the chicken chow mein fun when I unpleasantly bit down on what looks to be like an open part of a staple Or some small metal piece. Mind you when I first started
